Rudolf H Sauter was the son of German born artist, Georg Sauter (1866-1937) Rudolf studied art in London and Munich and exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Royal West Of England Academy and the Paris Salon. He had solo exhibitions in New York and one of his portraits Is owned by the National Portrait Gallery in London. In original gilt frame measures 90 cm x 75 cm x 4 cm
